Deserves a place over Baines for me.

Baines is living on past performances recently, his deadballs and Crosses are woeful and barely goes over the half way line. Give the young lad a few games and see what he can do theirs sod all to play for

Bit harsh. Elements of truth.

Not really people on here make the lad into the Evertonian Stevie g la who shall not be dropped. He's been nowhere near the Baines of previous seasons and the past few months hasn't been anywhere near stand out to warrant an instant place in the starting 11.

For me we should be using these last few games to start blending the youth into the side, the likes of Barry, Baines and possibly Howard should be given time on the bench for the likes of Besic, Garbutt and Robles to show what they can do. Otherwise what's the point especially if we have little cash to splash in the summer window.

Every place higher you finish in the league is worth more than £1m. So no, we shouldn't just be playing the youth.

So with nothing to play for and safe from the drop you think its more beneficial in the long run to play the same arl arses like Barry who have done nothing special this season over young talented lads on the bench waiting to make an impact?

Sadly I think Martinez agrees with you but for me I see our squad and I see the potential of blending a side together for years to come:

Robles: 23/24?

Coleman: 25
Jags: 30+
Stones: 20
Garbutt: 21

Besic: 22
Mccarthy: 24

Barkley: 21
Mirallas:27
Lennon:27

Lukaku: 21

Add possibly another 1/2 young signings and we would have a massively talented young starting 11.

But we know what Besic, Garbutt and Robles can offer.

I'm not advocating dragging JP Kissocks younger brother out of the under 10s lad just give Garbutt and Besic a go over players who have been average this season. Hardly revolutionary is it

I agree on Besic and Robles over Barry and Howard. I just think that Baines has some good years left in him so we should use him.
