I haven't lost faith in him yet, but certain things have bothered me this season, stones took what felt like an age to be brought in when our ch's were looked lost, both are playing better now, but there was a reluctance to change them. Barry has been overplayed and in my mind is injured as a result, he looked leggy towards the end of last season, and this year we have far more games, maybe the argument is he wants to give besic and gibson time for different reasons and they will fill in later in the season, but we will have to wait to see. Barkley playin out of position this season, okay I can let that slide, naismith has played well, though2 goals in 10 games isn't undroppable form, if lukaku had that record currently people would be calling him all sorts. I do believe that the manager is of the same thinking but then moyes probably was at some point, but lacked the conviction to follow through, hibbert at left back i don't believe worked and we didnt win the game because he played there, and I really don't want us to be making selections based on playing against grocks, 9 times out of ten the better balanced better footballing team will win
he carried an injury into that game, his third game in 9 days, it could still be coincidence, but he still should be being managed betterHow is Barry injured as a result of being overplayed?
He got an impact injury as a result of a terrible challenge on him in the Sunderland game. It's not like that would have been prevented if he'd played half of the games prior to it

I forgot to mention this in the crap post I had to quickly make on Thursday before my girlfriend knew I was on GOT again, but Garbutt's corners were better than Baines' have been the last couple of months. Dangerous, lofted balls beating the first man each time, refreshing to the point of arousal.
3 games in 9 days for a 33 year old? I don't know mate, i think martinez is very very rigid about macarthy and barry and it's caught up with him a little bit, and now at a time when gibson is injured when previously we had four optionsYes he was carrying a knock...from the Lille game, when once again he got hacked by someone!!
I know what you're saying and I do agree that he could have been rested for besic or Gibson at some point but (a) him an mccarthy are our first choice and a very reliable centre mid pairing and (b) the injury he has got now has nothing to do with him playing so many games!!
If it was a muscle strain that was keeping him out (I.e. what James McCarthy is struggling with) then I would agree about the injury but I'm not having it.
Jay mac on the other hand IS suffering from playing too many games but I'm sure that will be managed in the coming month
Its like someone having an injured hamstring getting their shoulder dislocated, no? Barry has an injury strictly just because of that one game, nothing more, yes?he carried an injury into that game, his third game in 9 days, it could still be coincidence, but he still should be being managed better
even if he wasn't injured now I would still make the argument he is being managed poorly and martinez is obsessed with having both him and macarthy on the pitch, last season barry looked leggy in the second half of the season, this year we have more games and also more options, yet the manager is rigid on this, to suggest a 33 year old should play 3 games in 9 days is all fine is crazy, unless you have no option to do so, or he is a world class performer and we are at a crucial stage of the season, neither of these things are true, but some people refuse to accept any criticismIts like someone having an injured hamstring getting their shoulder dislocated, no? In no way, shape or form do I think they are not being shoe-horned into every single match regardless of form and Martinez needs to sort that out(but apparently wont). But i just dont think the injury had anything to do with his fitness. It was a poor tackle that did it.even if he wasn't injured now I would still make the argument he is being managed poorly and martinez is obsessed with having both him and macarthy on the pitch, last season barry looked leggy in the second half of the season, this year we have more games and also more options, yet the manager is rigid on this, to suggest a 33 year old should play 3 games in 9 days is all fine is crazy, unless you have no option to do so, or he is a world class performer and we are at a crucial stage of the season, neither of these things are true, but some people refuse to accept any criticism
Answers in the question. Why am I seeing loads of supposed ITK talk on Twitter about Liverpool sniffing round Luke?
It's only Twitterr I know but surely he wouldn't go to them? Would he?
