He is pretty much holding the club for ransom to a small extent. Oviedo has been in the same position as him for nearly three years and hasn't Complained once

Suggesting playing him over Oviedo because of he might threaten to leave would be an insult to Oviedo and what message does that send to the other players about attitude?

Hes not going to start ahead of Baines yet, Im sure if hes that good he will make the place his is a couple of years time.

Im a bit sick of hearing these rumours about him going to the RS tbh, and if he thinks he should be a starter then he is deluded. Hes played in a few games this season, I'm sure Roberto will keep giving him more and more minutes. He needs to be patient.

If there is any truth in him being in touch with the RS, he should be banned from training with the club until the contract ends, the little gobshite.
