I am now !!.still for me,not as effective with regards all aspects of his roll on the pitch, and I appreciate you rightly mention a poorer side this season.
If the money was right,I think the Management might be interested if their looking at their replacements already bedded in the squad. oh to be the manager !!.

With Pienaar and Osman out, Baines is our only remotely creative player (Besic is looking like he could be, and I guess Barkley when he's arsed). And unlike Pienaar and Osman, Baines has pace and is a competent defender. I love Oviedo and think Garbutt has potential, but it would be a massive mistake to sell Baines.

I'd cash in on Baines end of the season tbh. Somebody might offer us 10/15m for him and it'd be a great deal, esp with us having Oviedo and Garbutt already. That money buys us a class winger and a decent centre back, and we'd be much, much stronger for it.
No mate just no.
Bainsey is class.

Oviedo only has a year left himself on his contract and I doubt he wants to continue to be backup. If Garbutt signed we would very likely sell Oviedo however he is a good utility player so for that reason he might stay but again would Oviedo want that.

Very tricky, Oveido may think that the grass is greener in another football club ala Mirallas.
