He won us points against Spurs, West Brom, Stoke and City.

He's not the level we need to push us on and that is poor that we didn't get somebody in.
He's a goalkeeper, he's paid to make saves! Against stoke he basically made one decent save - absolutely no more than I would expect him to do. Against West Brom he made a couple of good (not incredible) saves but made an absolute mess of the goal. It's stretching it to the extreme to say he won us the points.

City and spurs he was excellent, and I happily praised him after both of those games. He is a below average premier league keeper overall though, and we should never have got into a situation where he is our number 1.

Regardless, those saves won us points. Lukaku gets paid to score goals - but he still rightly gets lauded when he does score.

I agree on your last point.

Hot and cold. Yesterday it was his poor defense thinking they still played for Martinez were at sixes and sevens the whole game. Not much chance for him.

Ultimately the defnence collapsed at 2-0 though, and those first two goals were very much down to Stek (though Barry was awful for both of them as well, as was the defending).

He is poor but for every save he makes he makes a mistake.

West Brom - kept us in it but fluffed the resulting corner.

Boro - Not strong enough on a standard cross.

Palace - rooted to the spot on both "goals" (disallowed goal was lucky)

Burnley - Turd on the 1st goal and was to busy getting to his feet by the time they scored the 2nd.

Chelsea - 1st, 2nd and 4th too slow or unresponsive plus 5th not strong enough to push it out of danger.

Plus let's face it two poorly taken penalties against City.

He is too slow on distribution and Robles would do better.

Just seen Palaces keeper he is just as bad but he does dive now and then!

His distribution is shocking and you are right about him being slow, against Norwich he was almost time wasting even when we were 2 down.

Reaily is he was awful against Burnley, we keep a clean sheet in the next game without him then he comes back and we go down by 5, if you dont get dropped after that we have a problem.

The entire team were pish today, you can't put the blame on just him. The defending was arse awful

People have just been waiting for an excuse to get stuck into him

All keepers make mistakes now and then

For 500K he's been a great signing and he's earned a chance to make this right

Wtf is this?

Fulham could of paid us 10m to take him off their hands and he'd still would of been a gash signing

The ability not to dive concerns me his positioning yesterday was dire!

Finally someone with eyes!! Said this all pre season that he does not dive, just stands there helpless as if he lacks the ability to dive and has slow reactions..

Koeman obviously doesn't see this? And or we had no money to sign a better keeper. Frustrates me so much

We have a problem with this guy, after 10 games you can see that other managers will study the video from the goals we have let in an the saves he has made and any decent coach/striker will know exactly what to do when he is in goal. No wonder there has been games with shocking shots on target goals against stats, just put it in the right area and he wont be abe to do anything about it, useless.

Any goalie who''s reactions are that slow they have to push a shot away with their face is hopeless. He can't set himself, he has no anticipation, he's weak under crosses, he's flat footed.

Offer Burnley a deal for Heaton in January.

Given his age and low transfer fee, Koeman should have no problem replacing him in the first 11 should he see fit come January.
