Could have done better with both goals though, let's be fair.

Look, if conceding one a game is him at his best, we're in trouble when he starts playing averagely
Not sure if spending big money on joe hart and tying up big wages is a good idea. Rather we bought some more quality outfield players so maybe it is wishful thinking on my behalf that he can do a job for us ...! Only opinion but he looks OK to me .

Don't see anybody like last season calling, 'Robles ffs, get Robles in, he's got to be better...so for now we'll take The Stek under advisement = not quite sorted, but could well be in the short term (where the short term = 2 seasons)

Could do nothing for the Spurs goal... He made two outstanding saves to get us a point.... He produced two outstanding saves at a very important time against WBA which enabled us to get 3 points... I have only ever seen him play 2 games in my life ... But he was the Dutch number 1 for a few years.... And at the moment ... He is playing like and international keeper

Anybody that believes Martin stekelenberg can lead this club into Europe has lost their mind. You don't wake up at 32 and suddenly become a top keeper. Dependable #2 but Hart is miles ahead.

He had a player obstructing him so he couldn't even come out against WBA, it's beyond a joke the ref didn't disallow the goal. How is that his fault?

Hart isn't worth the price City want for him. I'd rather keep Stek or go after someone like Cillessen

He's already led a team in to champions league and a World Cup final ...

And since then he's lost his job at roma, battled injury after injury, and failed beat out championship level keepers like joronen. Hart is a better option IMO. Statement signing that can do the job.

There's plenty of time left. City knows Hart sitting 3rd in the keeper order will make for issues all season. This is all posturing. The price will come down. The real issue may be that supposedly he wants a loan and they want a sale.

Either way he's still top shelf. All keepers go through a rough patch even Southall had them.

I think he would be fantastic for us but not for a 7 million loan. I hope we can get him, but for the right price.
