I'll tell you why I'd persist with him. Because I've seen enough in the few games he's had to know that his handling is as good (if not better than) Rolbes' or Hart's (Or any other 'keeper for that matter); along with his command of his area and all the other basics you'd expect.
Oh and I'll say once again - Loysturr won the league with schmeineken in goal. Maybe he (Stek) might make a blunder, but they can't all be Southall....Who made the rare one or two himself, don't forget.
