I like Joel as a bit of a cult hero/figure, but yeh agree with you here.

I think that's backed up by Koeman's 'three good goalkeeper' comments - even though in the same breath he mentioned that Stek had done well enough to be number one.

Think you're being harsh. He was made to look good by not being Tim Howard, but he's a decent keeper. Had some very good games for us and he's still young and quite inexperienced. He's probably the best number 2 we've had in a long time, so I can't really complain about him.

Stek however is looking top notch, and is clearly our best keeper. If he keeps it up then we have an absolute steal on our hands.

Far from being a 'lunacy' decision, easy one for the ref to get wrong as it was only on replay that it was obvious that Negredo played the man and not the ball, shades of the '84 Cup Final!! Mason evened things up by ignoring Williams high foot for our equaliser, while refs make howlers this was one that you have to get on with. As for our goalie, he's not had too much to do for the last couple of games, he'll be getting rusty if this carries on, but I notice we are linked with Forster again this morning.
