And half the tv clowns,as despite half of them seeing replays they still said it was keeper error for at least 30 odd mins,2 goals against us shouldnt have counted, this and west brom for me
What gets me about it is that, keeper error. He has caught the ball and the ball has ended up in the back of the net because negredo headed his arm .

I'm no expert but if someone jumped up and headed my arm when I have just stretched and caught a ball then chances are I will drop it as well. Rules of the game kinda say if you collide with a player and don't play the ball then it's a foul.

So listening to bt-lfc try to reason otherwise was just annoying the hell out of me. What's next? Volleying a keeper in the body to score a goal?

He gives confidence, has made some cracking saves but hasn't been under the pressure of recent keepers because our defence is at last looking solid. Seen the flap Hart did on his debut to gift a goal. Be interesting to see if Hart work rate goes up at Torino and how he copes with it.

Haven't seen any comments from BT as I was at the game, they surely weren't saying it was a legitimate goal were they? MOTD said it was a clear foul, as did Sky on Goals on Sunday. Weird channel that, BT.

yes about BT,and there expert ref howard webb said it was clear clear goal for a bit, till either just before ht/during ht,or after ht,cant remember which one, thought instant foul on keeper when it went in,its only when i seen replay that i saw our keeper almost to far back trying to catch it,which is the only keeper error he made in that sense, but still fouled for the goal

Was a foul... End of... IMO he has done nothing wrong in any game and has actually won us points by making saves that he is not expected to
2 saves v spurs,2 v west brom,1 v stoke,have won us points for me,and hardly had anything to do v boro/sunderland

That's what I'm saying... He has not made any mistakes .. And on top of that has made two saves against Spurs ... Second one was outstanding and had he not made it, nobody would be complaining .. His 1on 1 vs west brom was so important just coz of the timing of it , as well as being a good save... If tim was here still.. I honestly would have seen us dropping the point against Spurs, 2 or maybe 3 at west brom and 2 at Stoke. We could be sat on 6-7 points

No complaints about Stekelenburg whatsoever, has been solid all season. Needs to watch the old discipline though - two yellows already

Yeah worried about that, no point moaning and picking up cards, saying that I dont think it will effect his play, and if anything yesterday if did kind of change the game as after that we let lose!!

He's done really well, but honestly I'm not convinced he's as good as we need him to be. Once we're up against the better teams who will challenge our goal more, we'll see him truly tested.
Hope he stays good, though. As long as he concedes less than we score, he'll be good in my books.

He does really well coming out for the ball. That is the thing that stands out to me the most because Howard was really poor in that regard. His punches are almost always away from the danger which is another positive.

It's by the by now as it sparked us into the game but what I found annoying was Web and others trying to justify why the ref didn't see the foul then in the same sentence pointing out he was out of position. It was nothing to do with the speed of the play, he was stood in a bad spot plain and simple. It's his job to be able to see what's happening and he couldn't. He didn't do his job so rather then being able to bring that to the board of referees we just have to accept bad decisions. The lack of accountability of referees is an absolute joke.

As I say it makes no difference now but the very fact nothing could be done about it if it did matter is not acceptable in my opinion. Why should they be beyond reproach
