Has the young Roman Dixon been included in the finalised squad? Apparently, the squad needed to be sorted by 14th Sept, but I've not read or heard anything.

I find it odd that ANYONE is missing Godfrey. He was one of the worst football players I've seen. Great athlete, absolutely no idea what to do with the ball. He was a bad buy for EXHORBORANT money when nobody else was even remotely interested in him.

Thanks mate, I didn't realise that was the case. I've since read that we've filled all but one squad space, leaving one space open for a free-agent signing if needed... I wonder if they have anyone in mind

I can’t believe I’m writing this, but would you have Godfrey back? He isn’t great, but he’s better than each and every one of our Right Back options at the moment, and I don’t think we would have been battered anywhere near as badly as we have been if he was playing.

Godfrey is apparently having a bit of a nightmare at the Europa League champions; we have already benefited from his sale from an accounting point of view, and we could just agree to cancel Atalanta’s due payments as a way of re-signing him.

I’m not married to the idea, but I maintain that he would be a significant upgrade on anything we have at RB.

EDIT: we will also need to replace what should be our 4th choice centre back (Michael Keane) come the summer.

Didnt know that… Still a better option than Young regardless ..! Seriously though i only named him as one of the players out of contract .. Look on transfer market and there are loads of full backs looking for clubs .. We got to fix this problem and quickly. Young is our right back and back up left back for Myko who is becoming injury prone as well .. unbelievable situation !
