Man City fan lets rip...

"18 May, 2019. The FA Cup final; a pivotal moment in the ever-souring relationship between the media and Manchester City.

Guardiola’s men wallop Watford 6-0, a record-equalling score-line in this acclaimed fixture and it’s easy to imagine the hysteria that would have greeted Liverpool had they achieved this magnificent feat. There would absolutely be a slew of eight-page souvenir pull-outs in the tabloids and probably too a poll by the BBC to determine if Jurgen’s mighty Reds should be regarded as the best team in the history of the universe and any black holes yet to be discovered. There would be a jokey petition started up by a backbencher and raised in parliament to get Klopp immediately installed as PM."

The media in the uk sells its soul to the highest bidder. Its owned by billionaires who simply want to collect more cash because they don't think they have enough. They'll peddle click bait to man u and rs fans because there are enough to harvest money from.

Its not down to found riches because they are happy with the number of Chelski fans they can appeal to.

The sooner everyone ditches the national papers and sky the better. They're not news outlets, they're investments for a handful of already wealthy manipulators .

This is well worth a read as City fan Ste Tudor lets rip at the media, BT and Sky.

A very accurate piece. He could easily have mentioned the endless list of ex-RS and ex-Man U players who are employed as pundits on TV.

This is almost exactly what happened last summer when the RS won the league!

He’s spot on, City don’t get the respect they deserve because they dared to upset the apple cart when they won the title in 2012 and have proved season upon season since that it wasn’t a one off by winning 3 more as well as the other domestic trophies multiple times.

They should be lauded in history books for being the first club to ever win all three domestic trophies in the same season but never will because it wasn’t United or the RS at their peaks

If we won the league next season, yeah, I know, and some in the media pointed out that some rich lads have been a very big reason why, would you be arsed?

Thats what I dont get. Some City fan in the football media business crying cos not enough nice stuff is said about his club. (And he is wrong btw). What he doesnt like is the reality of their success is being questioned. Chelsea fans dont seem to moan about RA, and he/they get pelters all the time.

I don’t think this is true, it would be a huge story & not in a Leicester way either

everton getting beaten with the “rich” stick when we win league next year

Of course we will. "Moshiris millions, backed by his business partner, the appointment of Carlo and astute, but expensive signings have enabled Everton to scramble back to where their older fans remember"

Like I said, couldnt care less.
