I'm really not sure how to take the selection and possible formations. 4-51 or 3-5-2?

Either it will be a stroke of genius defensively with superb counter attacks, or we're going to be proverbially torn a new one.

Mathematically, I think the latter is far more likely this evening and that's me being positive.

The one game Barkley would do well in having space to run into the other half and he drops him.

Absolute clueless he is this season.

Maybe he plans to use him fresh off the bench an hour in? More space to expose with tired legs etc.

Of course, this depends on us NOT being three or four goals down by then, but still.

Squad is out of balance. Too many for the central role behind the striker (Barkley, Eto'o, Naismith). if Mirallas is one side, then who on the other? Need a good right winger if Atso is no good.

What I think:

Howard
Hibbert Jagielka Distin
Coleman Besic Barry Baines
Eto'o
Mirallas Lukaku

Would be a laugh if it turns out to be:

Howard
Coleman Jagielka Distin Hibbert
Besic Barry Baines
Eto'o Lukaku Mirallas

Any chance the knee-jerking Fantasy Football Managers on here could tell us categorically if this team is a good selection or not?
I will make it so much easier to spot the hypocrites after the game when when get humped/win.

I think there has been too much hype around Barkley. He has yet to consistently demonstrate that he can deliver the goods. At his age, hate to say this but Gerrard was having a far greater impact for our neighbours.
