i think you will find this to a little bit exaggerated ....though i will admit my 1 gripe with PIENAAR is hes over indulgence to always look for BAINES with his pass....so certainly he needs to a bit quicker getting rid of the ball when the pass is on but certainly not a poor passer of the ball

This season he's had a huge amount of easy short passes which he's failed to deliver. I do agree it's not his skill that's letting him down but concentration maybe? As I said in the other thread he looks like he starts every game exhausted and thus can't do simple things right.

Wakey wakey, rise and shine. Could all be in my head mate, but I seem to recall us drawing 4-4 with Utd last year and beating them earlier this season. Furthermore, we beat Spurs and drew (despite being the much better side) against Man City. The you can go even further back to last year where we beat City, Chelsea and Spurs.

And Carsley joined the same year as Moyes for Christ's sake.

Well done, I actually wrote Gravesen, deleted it and put Carsley to see if anyone on here would even pick up on it. Glad someone did. But only 1 person did :(

On the other point, I was slightly exagerating, but only slightly.

We lost to a Man U side away at Old Trafford that has been stung by us in recent times with the 4-4 and 1-0 and were humiliated last season when they threw away a 5 point lead to let City win the league. They also played a strong (if not their strongest) side with tactics set up to nullify us. We were never going to have it easy even with them playing Madrid in midweek but at the end of the day all the effort in the world wasn't going to win that game considering Man U are in full title run in mode. I know it isn't easy losing, especially when the team doesn't show up for it, but calm down and have a bit of perspective; we are not out of the race for top 4 since the other teams will mess up and our season is not suddenly going to fall apart just because we lost to the champions elect.

im not surprised but i was pretty optimistic they would leave with a result. Typical letdown game for ManU, but they came out well. The first 20minutes or so was just shambolic. They looked they had never even seen each other before, much less played together.
