For all of the doom mongers and anti depressant mobsters, if you think that was a poor performance all round I suggest you get down to Specsavers.

we played very well at times but had no end product. How many teams go to Old Trafford and dominate for any length of play, some of you need to get off the tablets.

Alex Ferguson - "I thought they [Everton] dominated in the first half for 20 minutes in terms of possession and had a couple of near things – they were always a threat from corners and have great delivery from [Leighton] Baines."

ALWAYS compliments the opposition when they win. He said Southampton were the best side to visit Old Trafford the other week.

Not saying he should've stayed (although I think he owed us a season or two). I'm saying it's still a shame to see him debate a throw in against us for example, like his life depends on it. Was such a huge blue aswell, to see him in a Manchester United shirt against us will always touch a nerve.

To be honest he has every right to contest decisions for his own team. And for me there were far worse teams he could be playing for and against us.
Just because he supports Everton (and I really think he still does) he is a Manchester United player. No problem with him fighting their cause against us at all. What do you expect? Him to not go 100% against us because he has a soft spot for us? I'm sure Fergie would love that.

Oh right, so it's a back handed compliment! sorry, there was me not being a conpiracy theorist or doom monger. I will change my tact to try and fit in around here. ;)

However, the facts are we did take the game right to United at times and played some neat football. The goal clearly knocked the stuffing out of us, and I would not be too disappointed if I never saw Heitinga in a blue shirt again.

If we signed a top player from another club and he did not give 100% effort when he played against his old club we would all be on hers tearing him apart. Yes it does hurt seeing a great blue in a red shirt but thats modern football, little or no loyalty

Utd didnt get out of 2nd gear yesterday, It was like a training game for them before Wed tie against Madrid

Our build up play was far to slow and once we got past the half way line we had no clue what to do with the ball

OK mate.

I will ignore eveything the opposing manager says, what does he know anyway?

After all, he is only saying it because we are a soft touch.

Expecting the old "champions league was always gonna be a struggle for us" line in the next week or 2

And why not? I've never once thought we have a team/squad capable of getting to the latter stages of the Champions League,
and as things are I don't think we could even cope with the distraction of the Europa League

Everton has a good team. Well worthy of being up near the top of the league, but without the funds needed to sustain a real
push for a competitive tilt at the very top.

I'm not saying doesn't

This is the only point I'm trying to make

Thought we were doing well first half after they got the first. Second killed the game completely and from that moment on we were never going to get anything. Will be very hard for us now to catch spurs

A gutless performance, Felli destroyed them on the opening day but he was kept subdued yesterday. United were very organised and relentless, disappointing.

On a side note, Phil Jones getting shingles is SO Phil Jones.
