Brownie was right, Arteta was head and shoulders above anyone else on the pitch, fantastic performance from the little Spaniard and he's adding goals to his game. Comfortably the best player at the club.
Great to see Cahill get on the score sheet, hopefully that'll give him the confidence he needs. Sylvain Distin put in another one of his rare Joleon Lescott esque performances. I love Buzz, I don't know why, he's so hit and miss it's untrue, but he's got something that I like. Possibly the shape of his head.
Rodwell's play for the second goal was superb, he looks very comfortable playing as a more attacking minded midfielder. Gives him a bit of freedom and his mix of athleticism and technique gives him a real edge.

Distin's head shaping and amicable nature is a real hit with all the boys, I blush a little when he comes on screen now.

We're too far behind to finish 4th, but in the general Europe shake-up, Everton still not realistically being talked about. That is just how we like it, let City get messed about in their games against Chelsea, Aston Villa and Spurs (and regarding the last 2, vice versa).
