I believe that he meant that there were a fair amount of your supporters who thought that the money spent would bring instant success when it would clearly take time.

It didn't stop them from shooting their mouths off though did it?
well they were (read: some them) tempted to do that? we are human kind after all greedy and selfish tramps.

anyway, who cares about the fans, we beat the crappy man city and Bellamy will have insomnia from tonights game, isn't that the best part of the evening?

so desu ne.

Welcome to GOT.
I don't know if it's because I stopped smoking, or just because I'm a total psychopath, but I feel I'm developing special powers, and wondered if you actually came for the casual homosexuality that rears it's head on here occasionally. I just had telepathic feedback, and visions of rubber and scarlet ribbons when I read your posts.:)

wait, are you implying the Japanese are all homosexual?

now that i think about them, the seem strange.......

oh, my man of the match is Distin, just bossed our half of the pitch.

one thing i don't understand, how can Sky five MOTM to Jagielka and he had some serious mistakes through out the match.

he is excused since he just came back from injury, but so far, he hasn't done much.

by the way, vielen Dank for welcoming me

Had to post here today, I was listening to the game at 4am this morning and although its made my day at work awful today it was worth it to listen to us outclass city AGAIN.

I'm not too sure about Distin today, but it's ok if he impressed you.
I thought that today we might have defended a little better, and Tevez was a real problem.

My favourites today were our midfield players, and they all put in a decent shift, so hard to choose between them. (y)

Just read Mark Ogden's (Telegraph) report on the match and thought I'd post a couple of his comments:

But while they subjected Everton to intense pressure, City repeatedly crashed against the Merseysiders’ impenetrable rearguard.

So much for the big-spenders. Team spirit on a budget is Moyes’s mandate and Everton certainly made their point.

Oh, and has anyone noticed that two clean sheets in a row has coincided with the return of Jags' match fitness? Hmmm, interesting
