It was a good job half the team rested themselves v swansea,in the hope they would be picked for man city, going by the way we played lol, said before 1st leg we would win 2-1 at Goodison and lose 2nd leg 3-0,but for some bizare reason,i actually feel more confident now,if we score 1st think we have fantastic chance no doubt that changes if we conceed early

This is such a negative thread. You guys are 2-1 up, you've proved you can keep a clean sheet against us in recent weeks. If you can man mark Aguero then you'll go through easy. I keep expecting City to pull their fingers out, but we just keep slipping back into this 'not arsed' mannerism and coming out with massively unimpressive results.

I was still really confident we'd go through, but after Saturday I'm on a bit of a downer about City, I don't think Pellegrini has the ability to motivate our players and get the most out of them any more. Defensively we're a shambles without Kompany. You're gonna have a few fringe players playing like Cleverly who'll no doubt play out of their skin against us.

It's one of those games where you're probably worse than us form-wise, we've got bags full of experience and a squad full of world beaters but you'll be up for it and we won't.

I reckon you'll go through.

I said my piece on Man City in the first leg preview. Spoilt little rich kids who don't know how lucky they are. Why them? Still makes no sense. Makes even less sense when you realise the Sheikh Mansour or whatever his name is wanted to buy Newcastle first. How does that make City fans feel? He preferred Newcastle to you.

I can tell what you drink on away days mate....

Scenario 1 - Stoke beat the dark side, we lose to City after being 2-1 up with 10 mins to go.

Scenario 2 - The dark side beat Stoke, we beat City, you know the rest.

Either way, Satan wins.

You do know that we'd still go through even if we lost 3-2 on Wednesday, right? As long as we score 2 and they don't have more than a goal advantage on us, we're off to Wembley.

We just find a way to lose these games currently though mate. We can't keep things tight and we got very lucky at your place with a dubious decision. Aguero is looking far sharper and no Besic is a big miss for us.

The only silver lining I see is that you can be got at defensively. I fancy us to score and we may get 2 which if we do I can see us keeping you to 3 or below.

We played a Kiev side with one outstanding player and our glorious leader created a system giving him the freedom of the park. Expect aguero to have a field day Wednesday.

Now we've got that meaningless Swansea game out of the way (not before it gave us two casualties we can ill afford like) we arrive at the big meaningful game.

Drop Stones. He's more Duckandcover than Beckenbauer. Mori + Jagielka at CB.

Toss up between Cleverely and Kone wide left. McCarthy has to play, fully fit or not.

I'm backing Lukaku and Barkley to take us to victory.

Roberto is the history man. The man with the plan. A legend in the making.

Everton v Liverpool final.
Joke.........WUM !!
