It's all turned on fractions this season. One or two of the very close draws we've had being turned into 3 points instead of one and these conversations would be redundant. Everyone can see there's a very strong team here. The key to them being strong is confidence. They are definitely doing what they did last season and losing confidence and have the negative potential to slump badly. A cup SF is exactly what they need. Get through here and minds are settled with the knowledge that there's a tangible pay off for their football and they'll be focussed on league games in the chase for final places. It'll be a massive boost. It's a crucial game for these players.

I agree with you regarding the fractions and maybe a couple of draws into wins would releive the pressure, its the manner in which we are consistently conceding goals that is costing us the two dropped points. Its the inability to drop a underperforming howard, it was for the majority of time about playing kone and cleverley out wide when we have mirallas, lennon and at one point delboy on the bench together. (something he has recently changed - see newcastle and chelsea for our stronger starts to a game, balance etc), it is all good talking about bigger pictures when the here and now is suffering, one thing i wont do is judge him on tonights game alone, after all cups can be a lottery, but he must show to his doubters that he is prepared to win ugly, something that may be required tonight.

City cost more. They earn more. They have a stronger bench and a winning track record. If we're going to win, we need to want it more. Winning the midfield battles will be crucial. There will be periods tonight were we come under pressure. At those times, we need our attacking players to hold the ball and bring others into play and give the team time for a breather and to re-organise. If the ball is coming straight back at us, we'll struggle. Time for the leaders to step forward. Cue Barry, Jagielks, Baines...

Woah, they are the managers comments ahead of the game. I can't change them.

I expect us to deliver a performance tonight...

You knew what you was doing you snake.....

~~~~SSSSSSSSS
Grinding out a 0-0 would do me right now lol
Liverpool winning has put my off.
It gives us a great incentive to kill some demons by beating them in a final but losing to them again would end me!
Hope we don't regret smashing City.
I watched their match and was thinking along those lines. I was wanting Stoke to win to take away the possibility of maybe having to
deal with losing another final against them. But it suddenly dawned on me. This is why we spend so much emotion and endure so
much pain that comes with supporting a football club.
We do it for precisely this. The chance to experience the days when your club has a special victory. We shouldn't be scared of it.
We should embrace it.
City have only failed to score in one of their past 26 competitive home matches in the last year (since 25 January 2015).
And that was the 0-0 draw with Everton in the Premier League on 13 January this year.
We can do it again!
Sorry, this is just me being honest, but the thought of losing to them at Wembley again is too difficult to comprehend.
If we win tonight I wouldn't go to the final. Football is corrupt and it'll all be rigged for them to win anyway.
