Honestly, I was basing on personnel, Onana was fantastic in France, Gueye is a brilliant player.

You have a seriously good talent in Gordon when he can be bothered.

I can see the reservations though, A half fit Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Maupay are not ideal up top.

While I'm with you here, rightly or wrongly there's a lot of pessimism that's become entrenched in the fan base. Last year didn't help, and the results add to it.

I think with one or two good additions and the right setup we would be fine. The issue is whether we get those appointments and can Lampard get them working.

Honestly problem is Onana is raw and Gueye is 750 years old.

I know there is a big gulf in quality but sadly we do not even look as though we know what we should be trying to do.

We look like that vs the supposed lesser teams as well. The team back to front lacks creativity and doesn’t carry a goal threat at all. We must be so easy for the opposition to plan for.
