Manchester City's Sham Trial

The rules need revised but by and large think they are fair. We deserved our punishment imo. The problem is the rules aren’t consistent and bigger teams circumnavigate them with ease.

Man City are one of the largest stake holders in the premier league. To severely punish them would be admitting the league has failed as just about all their titles would be defunct.

Pretty certain nothing much will happen, some pundits will say ‘but what about everton?’ for a few days before telling everyone pep is a genius for winning the league through ill gotten gains a few months later.

Everton fans cheering on city in this are out their minds.
Indeed, pack of scabs

It’s because a lot of Everton fans care a lot more about Liverpool not winning anything than the sport they watch and the team they support. It’s utterly embarrassing and the bitter moniker is well deserved for a lot of fans

I’m not sure we’re all celebrating city winning another case, and they are as much a part of the scab cartel and problem with this league as the other scab teams, but anything that makes this premier league and masters look like the totally corrupt halfwits they are is fine by me.

Part of the scab cartel? Lol. You are a halfwit if you believe that.

I think you will find that you have lost today. once the PR nonsense has been cut through, you have won only a very narrow part of the case relating to directors loans.
Utter nonsense. City were never against the apt rules, just the amemendment to them which has been declared illigal. Two major sponsorships were illegaly blocked and this was overturned. Anyone trying to claim this is anything but a significant victory for City is either misinformed or disingenious to say the least. Interstingly Everton actually backed City in this.

🗣️| Martin Samuel on Man City’s victory against the PL:

"Unlawful, unlawful, unlawful, unfair, unfair, unreasonable, unreasonable. The seven conclusions of the arbitration panel make for sobering reading. Yet, even sober, the hangover is going to last a very long time.

UNLAWFUL
