There was no silence mate.

We sang "Everton" while ManU did their stuff with Charlton. The flags were lightweight plastic and were just thrown at random as a "wtf are these" kind of thing, which probably wasn't a great thing to do but noone was throwing them at disabled fans, though some probably ended up in that area.

Incidentally, putting the flags in the away end wasn't that bright. Noone wanted one as a souvenir, why would we, so they were all over the place including the steps on the way out.

I wasn't at the game so can't really comment on what happened but giving red flags to an Everton away end is simply brainless.

OK they were celebrating a club legend and good luck to them but we've had acres and acres of hero worship about United from the general media over the post Munich decades and enough already. Let them celebrate but expecting away fans to join in the self regard is a bit much.

They were actually white flags in our end ! We might as well have waved them in surrender to be honest

The people in the disabled section were complaining after game saying they were constantly being hit with the flags coming from the away support.

Who at United thought giving travelling Everton fans white flags was a good idea?

It's painful to watch mate and what's worse nobody at the club seems to willing to do anything about it.

Its almost like a twilight world is in existence at the mo, with the fans on one side and the club on the other. I'm hoping against hope that the new owner is taking all of this in and has got his hand on that big red eject button for the end of the season .

Basically very poor performance, under-performing relative to the quality of the team. No real threat and very poor distribution...

I said 8th this season and next season is the one to judge so my expectations are quite in line with the table....

Except the table says we're 12th on goal difference. The 13th, 14th and 15th placed teams are all within a point of us, and we have to play two of them this month. So we aren't in line with your prediction of 8th. The team in 8th place has 47 points, we only have 38. Your expectations have not been met, so why are you saying they have?

I really am not ultra PRO MARTINEZ,im PRO EVERTON...just think he needs to make a lot of changes in summer and i will judge him on that and next season.

No harm for us really to see what happens....hes done well with transfers and has money now...lets see how he does.

He's had six games short of three seasons, bought 20 players and spent about £100m in the process. It is quite reasonable to draw a judgement upon his work to date. The league table assists you in doing so, if you'd give it a look.
