lol 90 minutes of abuse? Who is witnessing this exactly?

The crowd can get restless at times and the vast majority of the time it is understandable with what's on display. Not quite 90 minutes of abuse.

Tired of fans making snidey remarks and blaming the match going fans when it is pretty obvious where the blame lies.

I'm a match going fan as I have been for almost 19 years, I lose my rag sometimes, perhaps overly sometimes. Which isn't productive. Goodison is a hostile place for us. It used to be hostile for away teams, but managers have commented this season saying "the fans got on the Everton teams back and it helped us". I've brought people the match when I have a spare ST free and all 3/4 of those I've brought don't understand the anger by the crowd. One is a Leeds fan. A LEEDS fan who doesn't understand the hostility.

But yes, where I sit in the UB, there is regular abuse being shouted, perhaps by 5/6/7 individuals, but that sample allows for a telling view of the game. No snidey remarks here at all to those who go and are genuinely supportive, but there are plenty who 'appear' to enjoy being able to hurl abuse.

Pretty funny the announcer just said Everton look far more relaxed and expansive on the road, and that they look tight at home...afraid to make mistakes.

Nonsense. They're just knowledgable fans who know rubbish when they see it.

If you want happy clappers for 90 minutes, go elsewhere.

Why on earth is lennon playing 10 and clev on the left? Bizarre from martinez again

Why? Baines is allowed to overlap then and Lennon can drift. Not only that, Lennon and Deulofeu are switching and Cleverley comes inside a bit when Deulofeu goes left, which works very well.

I'm a vocal Martinez critic, but this team selection is spot on.

What's more productive though, being supportive and getting behind the team, (not neccesserily clapping your arse off), or hurling abuse for someone having a pop, or Barkley trying something to try and uleash Lukaku and recieving aggro? Frustrates the life out of my does Barkley but at least he tries sometimes to do something unpredicted.
