Chance he'll move Barkley up and go with what you said late on. That's what I'd do anyway.

The fact that this Utd side are likely to finish 4th makes this season even more frustrating, as they are avarage as anything.

Not sure what the tactics are again, He's trying Barkley out as some kind of quarterback, which isn't working really, only one winger is allowed out wide it seems, and Cleverley has got a free role and has been anonymous as per.

Not moaning though, the season is over, that was alright, I guess.

It is crazy how a player as absolute mince as Cleverley is allowed full license to drift about, essentially annihilating any structure we may have.
First fifteen minutes, he sticks to some sort of game plan, we play well.

He then swans out to the left / drifts a bit infield and suddenly we look shapeless.

Infuriating.

Cleverley is a decent premiership player but nothing more imho. Imagine what this team would be if we had Arteta of say 2007 in it instead of Clevs.

2 big things screaming out at me there, 1. How badly unfit the entire squad look, and 2. The time and space United have in the midfield and on the wings. We've done ok without really doing anything in the final 3rd. I'd take a point here.
