It is crazy how a player as absolute mince as Cleverley is allowed full license to drift about, essentially annihilating any structure we may have.
First fifteen minutes, he sticks to some sort of game plan, we play well.

He then swans out to the left / drifts a bit infield and suddenly we look shapeless.

Infuriating.

Cleverley was one of, if not our best player in that half.

Agree with that for the most, but it was an even half all told - wouldn't say we were definitely the better side, but certainly nothing to moan about.

I will moan if/when the sulking Belg is brought on or the 60% fit Niasse for Deulofeu.
I'd say the 0 shots is kind of worrying like

And you know the second part will happen.

Id like to del at 10, he goes past players so easily, so surely you want him as close to the goal as possible? If he goes past one man at 10 hes got a chance to shoot at goal. Lennon is useless there

Kone for Lennon is Plan B

He was. Fantastic energy, great positioning, helped us with everything that went right for the first half hour.

He's not as eye catching as, say, Deulofeu, so people might miss what he does, but he was very very good.

For a manager to keep going on about how good the squad is, we seem to play an awful lot of players out of position.
