The problem I have with them is their lack of urgency to win the ball back or even contest a loose ball. We stand off the opposition and concede possession. We have suddenly stopped making chances too which is a worry. It's not even he loss that bothers me more the way we played.

I thought we gave it good effort from all. Just lacking a bit of nous when needed. We pressed very well for long periods but couldn't sustain it. Thought Stones and Jags played well but still a bit concerned about Baines and Coleman as defenders.

From a defensive point of view that was better than its been recently.

As for our play with the ball. I thought it was overall poor. Flashes of decent play. But jus couldn't keep it up for more than about a couple of minutes at a time.
I think that was down to the formation and general set up of the side going into the game.

I can see Goodison getting really poisonous as soon as we are out of the FA Cup.
The fans have turned on Martinez already and I can only see it getting worse in the coming games.
