Do we go with Tosun up front or Richarlison? Richie's not super convincing in that position but the pace up front might be crucial on the break against them.

Then again, it's Mourinho, who knows how many counters we'll get if he has them sitting in their own half?

They'll be under absolutely enormous pressure to win the game and will simply have to go for it. For us, it's a complete free hit.

I think we should exploit this and sit back, limiting the space in behind for Lukaku, Martial etc and immediately counter them when we can, so Richarlison up front from the start. Same exact approach to Leicester. Tosun/DCL/both come on late on if we need a goal/are hanging on to hare around making tackles and help the ball stick up top.

This probably all goes horribly wrong if we go behind mind, but I back our defence to limit their chances, on current form. Also Gueye's good form bodes well for this approach.

Their very ordinary defence needs to be pressed from the off as Newcastle did against them and as we did against Arsenal and Leicester. It should pay dividends even we end up conceding later in the game when they bring on the cavalry. We should get at least a point from this.

Pickford

Keane Mina Zouma

Coleman Gana Gomes Digne

Siggurdsson

Walcott Richarlison

That would be my side. Don't know if Silva has ever utilised the 3-5-2 but I think we would have a great chance of getting a result.

When not in possession have the wingbacks drop to a deep 5 and close the space for Rom, Martial and Rashford, have Gylfi also pushing back into midfield.

When in possession Siggurdsson and Gomes getting the ball forward for Richarlison and Walcott with the wingbacks overlapping and Gana sweeping behind.

You also have 3 good headers of the ball at the back to combat Rom and Felliani likewise they will cause Smalling and Linderlof big problems from set pieces especially Mina.

It`s a good time to be playing them.

They are absolutely awful going forward. We should probably set ourselves up to not give them any encouragement, which might mean Bernard sitting this one out.

If we get the defence right then I back us to score on the break. Huge if mind you, not really much hope to say our team is capable of a solid defensive shut out.
