Holgate done really well in an unconventional position but he has lots of what’s needed to play that role. DCL is a physical beast and a handful for any CB at this level. Championship player tag is not only inaccurate, it’s lazy. DCL MoM at Old Trafford.

Good - We kept possession much better once Baines was introduced. Baines has great quality on the ball and you need to try and keep hold of it, especially at places like that.
Bad - Regardless of what Ferguson said, I can only imagine Kean was substituted for not following instructions. I have been critical of the lad but I think bringing him off that was very unfortunate.

Weird game, Davies and Iwobi that poor we were pretty much playing with 9 men, our best midfielder was our centre back...

Not Tom Davies biggest fan but to be fair he had been on a yellow for the whole match and fair play to him he did what he could ,may be a sign that he is growing up as a footballer.

Agree.... it’s Duncan , Marco Silva, Carlo Ancelotti or your local Sunday league manager. If you don’t put effort in as a bare minimum you shouldn’t be on the field.
You can have an off game by all means, but you should be able to run, get into a position to effect the game, and make a nuisance of yourself. If you can’t then you should be brought off and expect to be brought off - no matter how long you’ve been on the field.

I fully agree and support that decision.
