Midfield has been shocking, I don't know why United isn't attacking down the middle

Yeah Iwobi and Geye thats something other teams dont have. The level of crap is astronomic.

Iwobi really offers nothing. The half dozen games last season seem like a distant memory. Defensively he is very suspect and going forward does not instigate moves but merely passes 3 or 4 yards to the nearest player to him, usually across or more likely back.

Signed a new contract hasn't he? Seems to be a common theme.

Until before the World Cup, he was one of our best performers, if not our best. This emerged from the end of last season, but recently he's diminished again.

It's sad how we can forget his important performances so quickly.

6/7 decent games doesn’t mean he deserves a new £100k per week contract. He’s rubbish, just runs around alot

Gray is picking the ball up 70 yards from goal and consistently doing useful things with it. People suggest he's not any good because he's not running those 70 yards and creating a goal.

I mean, running it out from our half is great.

But there has been twice when we have had an overload and he has passed it straight to their player. That’s why people are frustrated. He is our best outlet by far this game though.

Maupay’s best half in an Everton shirt that. I’d even go as far as to say he played OK.

As a second striker in a team with a midfielder with even a smidgen of composure he'd be a useful player.

Never an out an out number 9 though.

Gray has been excellent, just as ever that end product with him.

thought he should have given an early pass in one play and had a crack at goal in another where he passed. but he is playing really well and is providing a great outlet
