Lampard has to keep same formation from now on...but deep down you know that against Southampton he will change it again...has to stop changing the team around especially when it provides results.

Iwobi really offers nothing. The half dozen games last season seem like a distant memory. Defensively he is very suspect and going forward does not instigate moves but merely passes 3 or 4 yards to the nearest player to him, usually across or more likely back.

The shackles are on Iwobi when he's on that right side as his job becomes protecting Coleman and doing all the running.

I understand why the manager chooses to do this like but wish he'd trust Onana more on that side.

Positives

They didn't fold
Maupay has actually made the ball stick a few times
Gray has played well
Onana has played well

Negatives

Iwobi has been diabolical
Gueye has been diabolical
Mykoleno has been dreadful
Our decision making with the ball is absolutely embarrassing - Gray as an example who has such an easy ball to play through to Maupay but wants to be a smart arse.

I think Godfrey has been picked just to wind up Rashford and nothing else.

Still far too many players who aren't busting an absolute gut, losing 50/50s even 60/40s in our favour. Not much a manager can do when players don't want to out their body on the line and the drop off in replacements is dreadful

2 shots compared to their 10 doesn't fill me with optimism for the 2nd half but who knows, De Gea might have another mare.

He’s a massive problem his job in this midfield is to make things happen in attack and he’s not very good at it. Gyfi and I didn’t even like him was 100 times the player iwobi is. The fact he starts games and is our main attacking midfielder is why we are where we are. We had Gyfi and James not that long ago now we have this guy pretending to be an attacking midfielder.
