Can see why tbf. PSG seem like a circus with too many big name players doing what they want and then the owner, Leonardo etc jumping in. Managers nightmare that job as its all about the hollywood factor, not a team. Zidane would be perfect for them

Pochettino 3 years ago when they sacked Mourinho would have been a great appointment, he seems a busted flush now.

Embarressing how he lost the title last season against Lille, again this appointment being driven by Fergie who was the big voice for Moyes, LVG, Mourinho and OGS, doesn't bode well and now Woodward is staying at the club, nothing will change, they'll spend stupid amounts of money and wages and flatter to deceive, if it couldn't work with former greats of LVG and Mourinho who actually won a stupid amount of trophies between them in mulitple countries, how will it work with a failure like Pochettino who's shown he can't win things and struggles with big star players.

Ordering a 3 year supply of popcorn ordered from Amazon, going to be a fun watching the Red Manc shenanigans.

If they get Pochettino they’ll be a huge threat in every trophy they’re still involved in.

He’s a top manager who would have the tools there to compete with the best. Their squad is still extremely good and with Sancho Greenwood Rashford upfront he’d have the pace to play his pressing game if he wanted to. Ronaldo would guarantee goals for a side creating more chances as well. They’d be very dangerous in the CL.

He hasn't won a thing yet, and if he stays and ends up winning a French title with Messi, Neymar Ramos Mbappe, Donnaruma and Verrati in a Farmer's league that won't change my mind, he's not a tier one manager like Pep, Klopp and Tuchel and hasn't shown he belongs with those names, he's on that rung with the Rodgers and Arteta's of the World and those two won more than him.

Their squad is a mess with players from four manager's they sacked, Poch likes to play a highline, so that Means DDG who's absolute awful with his feet and stays rooted his spot, Maguire has shown the World he cannot play a high line and when he does it has laughable consequences, and Shaw and AWB get nose bleeds crossing the halfway line, then we get to the midfield of McFred in CM who cannot press their shirts, then we have the soon to be 37 year old connundrum called Ronaldo who supposed to press from the front who had the least pressures in Europe's top 5 leagues last season with 5 per game and he's still averaging 5 a game this season, and Greenwood and Rashford were not far behind with 6 per game last season, contrast that with Jota who led the Leagues with 19 per game.

So that is 7 players to bring in to play the Poch way, and good luck trying to get rid of those players i listed on stupid wages, they still have the likes of Jones, Mata and Matic on their books, United post Fergie don't do long term, intergrating 7 players takes time, and drilling a pressing style, that's what 2 seasons there, then the 3rd season comes the expectation to win the big ones and when they are behind their 2 biggest rivals the Glazer's feel the heat from the fans and pull the trigger.

Poch is awful in Europe, he spawned getting to a CL with late winners in games they should have lost, rest of his CL record is awful, one last 16 and 2 times couldn't get out of the groups, and i'm not including the 8-1 spanking at home by Bayern before he got sacked, at least he gets a nice pay off in 3 years time though.

I hope they get Poch.

Please don’t put Klopp on the same tier as Guardiola. Pep is better in whatever metric you want to look at. Trophies won, style of play, player development, sustaining performance. He does all of it much better.

Pochettino would be a good fit at United and would have enough quality on the pitch to implement his style. He’d take them back into the top 4 easily and have them competitive in the CL. United would take that right now as opposed to where they were. I know that’s not very palatable for you but the days of Spurs United Arsenal Chelsea all having poor managers whilst you waited for City’s off year to win anything are gradually coming to an end. Tuchel is starting to get under your collective skin and once Conte and Poch start revving up as well it will be good to see how the kopites react to another top 4 battle.
