i would say Martinez was poor today but it is his first game so i would say give him a chance , the more senior players were very poor today as they have been for a while now , a lot of players have left and a few are unavailable like greenwood , martial etc , but de gea and dalot, maguire etc were dreadful , fernades too was awful , but it was too easy for Brighton 1st half , the confidence is at an all time low thorough the club probably the lowest since the 70sTheir recruitment makes no sense. It's somehow even worse than ours. That £50 odd million defender looked totally out of his depth today.
Lots of players were poor but I had no idea what the plan was for United.i would say Martinez was poor today but it is his first game so i would say give him a chance , the more senior players were very poor today as they have been for a while now , a lot of players have left and a few are unavailable like greenwood , martial etc , but de gea and dalot, maguire etc were dreadful , fernades too was awful , but it was too easy for Brighton 1st half , the confidence is at an all time low thorough the club probably the lowest since the 70s
Who signs a 5 foot 8 CB to play in the Premier League, utter clowns.Their recruitment makes no sense. It's somehow even worse than ours. That £50 odd million defender looked totally out of his depth today.
eriksen and fernades did not work playing a false 9 or whatever , the full backs have been a problem for a while now , but its the whole team the organization , confidence , fitness , is all wrong , its up to the manager to do his best its a big task but its his first game , we have to give the guy a chance and the parasite owners need to support him fullyLots of players were poor but I had no idea what the plan was for United.
Eriksen and Fernandes both wanted to do the same things in the same areas of space. The full backs didn't know whether to attack or stay back, Fred and McTominay is just a poor combination, and the centre halves were awful. I don't know much about the lad Martinez, but I saw nothing to suggest he's a good fit for the premier league.

He has a hell of leap on him if you watch though, I think he is no1 for challenges in the air over the past few seasons. The thing is mate, he looks tiny for a centre back.

He is Argentinian so i doubt he is going to shy out of challenges, it's a first game tbh he needs to adjust, not everyone stands out on their debut look at McNeil yesterday.Holland to England is a big change though.

Oh yeah he is only like 5ft 9 or something like thatThats fair. He just looked really small to me. I'm not sure playing in a 2 will work for him.
