So how much have your owners pumped into your mob roughly , players , stadium etc would you say

Moshiri? @MikelsGoat

Help me out here bro. Including buying the club, then doing debt/loan stuff, sprucing up Goodison, new ground cost so far, sacking rubbish managers, got to be nudging half a billion. Actually, nudged past that most likely.

And thats before Uncle Unsie and their creative sponsorships.

Yeah thats quite a lot obviously not on city level , is Bill Kenwright still involved i know he was ill recently ?

He is chairman, but a figurehead, zip control.

Havnt a clue what the new ground will come in at, but like I alluded to earlier, there are wider forces involved in getting that built. Rumour is the initial commitments are £100m Moshiri, £200m Unsie, £200m bank folk.

In any world, that is a lot of money for any football club, let alone Everton. Hence the theories there is a wider game in play. Think the early movers in Canary Wharf/Salford, thats the gist of it.

600m in 4 years.

Not a single owner in world football has even touched that.

Around 750m if you stick the USM stuff on top.

I spend a lot of time on Salford Quays / Media city for my sins and this is nailed on IMHO

Its obvious when you extend ones thinking beyond just the club. A few of us chanced on it as a theory, years ago; no proof, just a logical train of thought, and one by one seemingly random things happened that hardened the evidence.

Like a property company, which has Moshiris involvement, did its very first (I think) UK property purchase a few years ago; The Liver Building ffs. Now, Everton have offices there, and (again, I think), Unsies step son works there doing sommet. That and the new ground neatly bookend a massive development project.

Is it still 4 houses and you get to put a hotel on it ?
asking for a wee Scottie Dog I know

Tonight could be a bit dodgy with shaw maguire , mctominay all out suspended , hopefully with a 2-0 lead we should be ok , first goal here though is vital

People seem to forget that until football clubs went public, every single club in this country was run the same way. The so called sugar daddy model. Making a profit was the last thing on peoples minds. It was all about the trophies. That wasn't that long ago. These days certain clubs have managed to convince the fans to celebrate balance sheets and profits and pour scorn on those clubs who think trophies and winning are more important than paying out dividends to shareholders.
