Manchester United

….i reckon Xavi. Weird that in the summer they were apparently keen on the Ipswich manager, I’m sure they can have him now.

When he was in the middle east (pre barca)i suggested we should go for him. Would be interesting to see how he would do at a big club without the pressure of being a former player.

Is the Ipswich manager Kieran McKenna now a poor option? He seems to have made 12 signings to add to a league 1 / championship squad. Clearly wouldnt have been able to attract top players and its an uphill task after 2 super seasons.

Is ETH now a bad manager because hes failed at United? Was Emery a bad manager after Arsenal sacked him?

I hope they're still a meme forever though.

In the Summer they were raving about Zirkzee, de Ligt etc.

I pointed out to my United fan brothers one is a striker that doesn't score goals, the other a CB that's overrated and always injured.

Lo and behold they've now seen how crap de Ligt is, and the rumours about getting rid of Zirkzee because he doesn't score goals

They, like us have a lot of work to do.

Not surprised that ETH has gone probably should have gone in the summer but not impressed with Ratcliffe or Ineos so far ,maybe ashworth , berrada and wilcox can find a manager to stabilise to club and move forward , the last few performances have not been to bad but the goals scored ratio as been abysmal , i mean scandalous penalty yesterday was completed disgrace but we should have been about 3-0 up but we messed up , some of the player are just not good enough , i think we probably need somebody like Ancelotti or Xavi but probably will end up with southgate or potter god forbid , i have said before we have no divine to win anything , it needs hard work , application and 100 percent effort

Perhaps a relegation would help the club to clean house mate.

Heard that alot from a few United fans about Everton over the last few years...

...Chelsea next league game, that will be interesting.

I can remember as a kid in 74 we were relegated 6 years before in 68 we won the European Cup , Busby retired we appointed Wilf McGuiness and the Frank O Farrell they lasted a couple of years both lost their hair and had nervous breakdowns and the whole thing went to pot , we then had Docherty won the Cup in 77 stopping your neighbours winning the treble and then Docherty copped for the physios wife Laurie Brown who i believe gave the Doc a right hook and then the Doc was sacked , just shows you never can be certain of anything

I love it when my usually crap prophecies bear fruit. Another failed Dutch name hired because of the seventies and eighties pedigree. The only one that looks like he'll buck the trend is the eminently likeable Slot bloke.

Surprised Conte hasn’t been heavily backed in.

Thomas Frank doesn’t have the minerals, nor does Potter. It’s too early for McKenna

Southgate would be an absolute reach and I’m not sure the likes of Xavi or Zidane could do this role.

IMO, Ancelotti would be the man for Utd to go and get. If not, Conte is the next best bet. I bet they’re gutted they didn’t pull the trigger earlier when Tuchel was available.
