I think Manny's a pawn for his agent/owner/club/whoever.

Poor bugger just wants to find a home. I just want to give the guy a pat on the back and tell him good luck. Id deffo find a spot for him with us, but thats business, and we didnt want him for those kinds of dollars.

Im actually feeling sory for my dad, coz he's a citeh supporter and i think his clubs in lot of trouble. As the manager of the England team for gawd knows how long, youd think Erikkson would be privy to the the best info about up and coming england players, and start signing there. But he's been linked a succesion of foreigners no-ones heard of (well not me anyways), for rediculous amounts of cash (Samaras anyone) and having never managed in this league, I think he may well be out of his own.

he was a very naughty boy.

Post of the day.

There must be something about Fernandes that Moyes doesnt like, we know Moyes values their ability to integrate in the squad. Perhaps this is where it lies or just the fact that Fernandes went missing for large periods of a game, 10 million pounds can buy you better value, like this cat Lucho. Or two Kieran Richardsons, maybe not.

Anyway, I would be made up if, and its a big if, we bagged Gonzo (to his mates) and Fernandes on loan. Or even just Gonzales, as he is one hell of player.

Call me conservative Chico but I still think are Argy bargy fella is all a smoke screen. I expect our next signing somebody we have not even been talking about.

Apparently we are "confident" that Benfica will let Fernandez go for about 2/3 of the £12M which would make a possible deal be only £8M (included the money to the second owner). Please be true! For £8M I'd want him here, that's not so unreasonable for a player with his potential.

I think £8M would be high for what I've seen of him, but considering his age, we are also buying a bit of potential too, as theres no doubt, if he improves his consistency and gets a little better then he'll be world class. It all depends on if he can make the step up a little.

I'm with sim on this one Manuel rocks but the only problem with him was he lacked an engine and only really performed well for 60 minutes obviously with age this will not become a problem for him but based on current ability I would say 8 Million is steep for him.

However, the potential that the boy has could see him double or even triple his current value in a couple of seasons so I say its worth the 8 million on offer.
