If my memory is correct, the arse have never been relegated. They were second division until the war broke out and then at the conclusion, they bought their way into Division 1 and haven't left since.

Is that right? I didnt know that. But wernt they co-founders of the old division 1 along with us?

Yeah, If we get them we'll be champions of the UEFA cup and 2nd in the premiership with Manure and Liverpool Relegated.

But liverpool will whinge about how they belong in the premiership and the premier league will relegate Sheffield United back into the Championship.

Hey we can dream eh :P

Liverpool whining their way back into the PL isn't a dream... it's a nightmare.. Liverpool getting relegated.. now THAT's a dream!(y)

Everton is the team that have played the most seasons in the top league in England... and it's more than 50 years since we last was out of the top league.

Ah yes ive just looked it up, they went bust, reformed and then finished 5th yet somehow still got promoted over spurs.

Nope, just checked. Arsenal were founded in 1886, in Woolwich, south-east London, but in 1913 they moved north across the city to Highbury. They joined the league in 1893 in Division 2. Stayed there until 1904/05 where they were promoted to Div 1 (I was wrong!), then relegated in 1912/13. Then WWI broke out and they rejoined in the 19/20 season in Div 1 where they have resided since.
