D'you know what was most pathetic from the Sky puff piece they did to help him out? The inference he made for being seen as the one who brought Richarlison in - he'd "wanted to bring him to PSV".

Yeah, 'kin right.

That's how under the cosh that feller is. Looking for any port in a storm.

Back to your normal pathetic , agenda driven , drivel, over Brands in my opinion mate.
Are you seriously suggesting that the Sky article was produced at his behest "to help him out" ?
"That's how under the cosh that feller is". Seems also to suggest that .
You are simply making yourself look ridiculous if you think that he can manipulate the media in that way.

Almost.

Why on earth would Sky Sports off their own bat make a dedicated half hour programme about a manager who's overseen failure at the club? How could that have been cause for celebration?

His stock is diminished; his by-passing on the Silva dismissal and Ancelotti installation was obvious for all to see. That piece will have been at the behest of the club in order to pacify Brands, and I'm sure Alan Myers somewhere along the line helped facilitate it.

Probably because the world of football respect Brands and his history but obviously Sky should have swerved it because Dave from Skem doesn't approve.

It wasn’t even produced by Sky, Premier League World is a show produced by the league itself to be shown worldwide on the networks that show games such as Sky and BT here, BeIn Sports, NBC and so on

They made the decision to air it. Commissioned it perhaps.

The point stands: why on earth would you have a piece on a man who has demonstrably failed to move Everton on in his time here (in many ways added to its problems), has been ignored on his view of Silva and been sideliened on a managerial appointment?

It makes no sense.

What’s your evidence for this claim?

Because not everyone thinks that way? Gives the wider football community a look inside, gives Evertonians who don’t have a tedious agenda a better look at the guy’s background and reputation
