The whining here just because the gloss came off Brands and he's been demoted.
Grown men worshipping that skinny leg jeans wearing walloper.

Don’t want to jump the gun eh? I too fear the signings may have fallen through after them noticing Brands wearing True Religion jeans at his ageIm not whining.
Im just waiting for Marcels 3 latest signings to break, then I'm destroying you.
I’m saying the exact opposite of this. I’m saying your assumption of the role at Everton is narrow and that it can be a lot of different things and responsibilities and the exact working we are not privy to and so can’t appraise itYou talk about this role as if it were cast in stone. We never had it up until 2 years ago. We did ok bringing in players and managing the academy up until then...in fact, we did better without it.
You need divison of labour of the sort you allude to at Real Madrid or Man United, not Everton.
Brands will leave and he will not be replaced. Be sure of that. It's an experiment that failed, and that's why it's been sidelined this summer.

Yes. But we're miles off that ;point so emplying a DoF right now is superfluous and confusing to ther managers we've had. Koeman and Ancelotti may have worked with DoF before, but at a club like Everton where the calibre of men attracted to it for that role has been weak, they chose to bypass them.I’m saying the exact opposite of this. And this is the thing, you’ve just conceded that division of labour is required at a top level. A level we aspire to be. So you accept that to operate at a top level you need specialism and a better division of labour. Which is the point of having roles such as director of football. A position designed to look at the longer term strategy of a club in an era where manager terms are short.
Contract Dave is Little Frank to Brands' Frank Sidebottom.Dont you EVER do contract Dave like that.
Hes the most important person at the club.
Who should organise the scouts? The head scout.
Who should negotiate the deals? The club CEO (if she;s not up to it, get shut of her).
Just holding a mirror up to the local Brands Davidian fruitcakes on here. You are bang on form tonight, Dave
