...apparently atm that means him carrying on working for PSV and signing players for them.
Davek: Horrible that he hasnt done the job hes been paid to do, and stuck to it devotedly. I hate someone with that lack of character.

Says a lot about the man’s character that he’s finishing the job he started there despite clearly seeing the finishing line. This is a guy who doesn’t cut corners or leave the pieces for the next guy to pick up. He’s exactly the kind of bloke we want at our club by the sounds of it. What’s more, he’s actually very clear on what his remit is, unlike a certain glorified scout.

Perhaps, but it seems obvious there's a change of approach. Getting shut of Elstone is one of the best things to happen to us for some time.
Don’t get the impression that we got rid of him tbh, seems like he wanted to go back to his main passion Rugby. I’d have been impressed if we’d have gotten rid of him straight away and didn’t have Harris on the board.

I'd suggest different, I'd suggest Kenwright was over ruled, Elstone given enough time to find alternative employment. There were stories of him leaving long before any mention of rugby.

We’ll have to agree to differ. Harris is a long time associate of Kenwright and Elstones been their two years plus, how long do you need to find another job?

Apart from some sort of guilt by association with Kenwright, what exactly is everyone’s problem with Harris?

He’s got an *exceptionally* accomplished CV outside of football, and has significant experience of major new build stadia (holding a key role in the company that either owned or built Wembley as I recall)

Oh you mean the guy who Kenwright hired in a decade long search to sell the club, the one described by Simon Jordan as the biggest myth in football whose never done a deal in his life, that guy?

I reckon this is the case. There’s not a cat in hell’s chance Elstone leaves on the eve of delivering a 500m stadium. He’d be milking that for the rest of his career.

Leaving now I believe is because moshiri has told him to.

We got rid of him by largely making him redundant. He didn’t make decisions anymore and had no control on finance. He jumped before being pushed.
