I have zero issues with the Richy/DCL CF combo until the summer. No point in paying over the top for a marginally better player now. Like we did with Tosun last January.

I thought a striker was priority, however now I cant choose between a new RB or RM. Coleman and Walcott are both individually poor and non existant as a pairing.

People go on like our players are awful.

Walcott and Coleman are not good enough yes but how many Brighton players would get in our side? 1 at most. Laughable its not the players its the clown managing them sadly.

Coleman is, along with Jagielka and Baines, a survivor of the Moyes era, the latter two have finally been phased out this season but we still haven't got a genuinely ready replacement to take over from Seamus the way he did for Hibbert. Walcott is a good player but is prone to going through bad spells yet continues to play because we only have Lookman as cover who just hasn't produced enough under 4 managers to force his way into a permanent role

I only ever hear Brands being referred to as a head scout. Here to bring in players. His role is “Director of Football”. So unless Everton have...well “Evertoned” it, he is responsible for all things football. That includes the hiring & firing of managers & all football related staff.

There’s clearly something not working at this club. Is there still a clique of senior players causing bad blood? Is it the coaching staff? Is Silva out of his depth?
Whatever it is, I hope Brands has identified it & has a plan to make changes.
Otherwise we’re in for more years of this rollercoaster ride.

I don’t know the answer mate sorry.

But I cannot bring myself to believe that Silva was his choice of manager. Absolutely no chance.

Which brings us back to your question, does Brands have the power or the balls, to tell Moshiri he (might) not be the right man.

Hopefully it won’t come to that.

These issues have been dragging us down for years.

Would not surprise me at all if there’s division in the camp due to Kenwight’s jobs for the boys.

Are you suggesting there is no hierarchy at the club right now?
