Absolutely right.

We need to get rid of the hangers on who make no difference whatsoever when the team needs to have a backbone in games that start to slide away from us. That should be a major objective for Brands.

But it is not a billion in cash but rather combination of cash and assets which makes a difference. You may live in a £200,000 house but does not mean you have that in cash.

Unfortunately cannot get rid of some he did not sign because wages too good.

Well we were struggling outside the top 10 before he took over and by some accounts that was with the greatest manager of all time. So a definite improvement can be seen.

There's been no improvement even with the windfall of the extra tv cash and sale of £180M worth of players.
