Come on, this is at home against the poorest side remaining in the league. It was also one of the few times we did that this season.

Yes, we can play on the counter, but unlike Liverpool, Conte’s Chelsea, Leicester, we don’t set up specifically to play that way.

I think we do set up to counter attack with pace on both wings and as shown Siggy has pace.
Problem is we haven't got a goalscorer to take advantage most of the time.
Also for a large part of the season the defence was a shambles and needed to be protected

Hard to tell with them but pretty sure Koeman was a big fan of Bolasie and Klaasen.

Tbf Sandro had a good season for Malaga was looking good for Spain u21s and I’m not sure there would have been many who would have predicted how poor he turned out

It’s doesn’t matter one bit really tho does it? We are talking about brands. The situation we are in was not his doing if it was Walsh or koeman doesn’t change anything. You mention “ name players” absolutely lol sandro , Gana , bolasie , stek , lookman “name” players are they?

How do you know this Dave ?

As it happens I do agree that Walsh does get a bad press on here , but then I believe if he had been given a different title such as head of youth recruitment he would be regarded in a totally different light.
I think he certainly had ability in finding good young players and that is where his strength lies.

However, I don't know how any of us can know what the decision process between Koeman and Walsh actually was.

Dave still doesnt understand the Director of Football role and is bitter it even exists.

He covered the area from box to box in the Brighton game in less than 10 secs and laid off a pass and received the ball back in that 10 sec spell
