Vastly improved the squad and still made a profit.
What a man.
Gonna be egg on lots of faces once the footy starts.
Let’s not pretend that not signing a defender wasn’t an appalling misjudgement.
Seems like he brought in a lot of mediocre players and kids that 'may' come good. Add in the panic at the end and overall, I'm disappointed.
People writing off a whole season cos we didnt buy a 5th choice CB.
LOL
Mo Keggers.
Was just typing this, it's entirely possible that Silva and Brands are happy with Holgate. I didn't see him at all at WBA but it should be safe to assume he's come on a bit... and he's never been as bad as the likes of Williams.
Depends if the Smalling/Rojo shouts were true though, if they were it's worrying.
Lets wait and see first?

Silva was crying for one. Said it was the priority. He’ll be fuming.
Silva said himself that signing a center back was top priority and he can’t go into the season with what we now have.
Lets wait and see first?
That doesn't make sense, either he did bring in a defender (that we ALL knew we needed) or he didn't.. he didn't. That was a treading water window, I don't think we've moved either forward or backward. Was hoping for better, but hey-ho, season starts saturday, so here's to EvertonLets wait and see first?
Come on, mate. It's really poor from all involved. It should have been done, even if there are mitigating factors.
The benefit of Delph is he maybe gives us breathing room - if fit - to play Gbamin there if needed. But it's not what a team who's looking to push on should be doing.
Overall the window has been okay, and each signing is a good one - in particular I think Kean will be excellent. But this is a major cock up to not have something sorted. We've had long enough.
Hes free to resign.
