If Moyes was to be the new manager then there's just no amount of spin you can put on it to make it sound like Brands is the guru he's been made out to be. It would mean either he's clueless about picking managers, or that he's content to pick up a fat wedge and sit on the board without actually doing the job we were led to believe he was brought in to do. If your director of football doesn't make the fundamental business decisions about the football team, he ain't a real director of football. I can see that some peopleare already getting their excuses in for him though. Standard.

Yes but only because I’d be dubious Brands has the final say on managerial appointments if Moyes came in. Even you would have to agree it wouldn’t come across as a Brands decision.
That'd be exactly it: another useful idiot for Moshiri.

...and we'd all know who the chocolate fore-guard was who went along with it.

Make no mistake: if Moyes comes in, Branmds is finished as a serious player at EFC. He'd have a worse reputation than Walsh.

Moyes coming in would be all Kenwright. It would basically read that Brands is out of his depth and Bill had to step in. Would be majorly worrying for Moshiri and Brands as if shows that neither are in control.

Moshiri - we all know hes under kenwright's sway on football.

It would be another thing entirley if Brands was to cave into him too.

There'd be no person at the top of the club fans could have faith in.

Kenwright should'nt have the power to be appointing managers though, all it's going to do is show that we will never ever move on until he is finally gone from the club, and he ain't going to do that off his own back.

Surely it must be Brands choice as DOF to fire and pick the next manager but some how it doesn’t seem like it. Till Kenwright goes we always be in this situation

If Moyes comes in there’s no way it’s not Kenwright in charge. Do people think that Steve Walsh arranged for Rooney to return? Of course not.

Any reports you read all have the same theme to them ever since Moshiri came in. It’s basically someone new had a go at a job, they botched it, Moshiri panicks, goes to Kenwright who puts something in place. It happened with Koeman’s first transfer windows where we got rejected by ridiculously out of reach stars like Koulibaly then with the window reducing they went to Kenwright who brokered Williams Bolasie etc. Seems like Meis has done the same on the stadium, talking about how Kenwright practically led the design on the brick look. I can’t believe that Walsh organised the Allardyce appointment. Again that smacks of Kenwright.

I think Brands had a shot the last two seasons to do things his way and it’s led to failures on the transfer front and on the manager front. Oe oil don’t be surprised if Moshiri once again just goes to Kenwright and we get Moyes.

Kenwright has failed at absolutely everything but everyone else who follows him into Everton also fails to an even worse extent. There’s something rotten at the core of the club that needs to be removed.
