I think, Allardyce and Walsh will be announced they're getting the boot at the same time, and Brands and Silva will be announced together. We have no idea what has been happening behind the scenes

I'm not saying for one second that brands would want Allardyce so he could be sacked at any point. I doubt very much he has had time while working for PSV to draw up a shortlist of managers and interview them all. That is what should happen. Brands in first then he would need some time to do the above. Surely the players that maybe are available this summer also change decisions, some managers may get more out of certain characters etc. It his head on the chopping block so if I were him I would at least want it to be off the back of decisions I had made.

He wouldn`t be coming here if he wasn`t happy / had some input into the next managerial appointment.

He`s going to have to work hand in hand with the new manager, if he`s doing his job properly.

i'll concur that sammy lee has been proberly the only bright thing of sams tenure

his passion was excellent and he actually looked arsed

But he must still have been pretty useless as a coach, though.

I am sure had plenty of input into the turgid tactics we have witnessed since he rocked up with Sam and the Merry Men.
