Some cracks starting to show though.

Sure, Digne, Gomes, Bernard (personally not as convinced on him as others) and Richarlison (Silva?) but Iwobi, Mina and Kean aren't looking too great... even Gbamin and Delph.

Iwobi looks very bad, I wont hide from that fact
Mina is a bit up and down, but I think hes very decent
Think Kean has loads and loads of potential, whether we see it translate to actual talent is up in the air, but im very hopeful
Digne, Gomes and Rico are great players, Bernie is a little diamond, but we defo still need to see more product
Gmblammos leg fell off and we knew what we were getting with Delph, sadly hes been more injured than we thought

As well as Brands being "new" we have also made a lot of changes to the scouting system, things havent been perfect, but I think my point stands regarding our best players.

January will be the crunch time. It’s okay for him not buying the players for Marco in the summer, but not buying them for a manager like Ancelotti on big money is a different story.

Im pretty sure Carlo will want some idea of if/what he can spend, he's no daft, he will know he is coming into a team that has it's first choice midfield injured long term, and we are not great at the back either. There was a story on one of them websites about him wanting to build a team around Digne and Richarlison.

The problems we had in the summer wont magically disappear sadly.

We still have well over 500k in wages either kicking their heels at FF or kicking their heels out on loan stinking the gaff out.

Gbamin has been injured and not really played. A bit too early to start judging him imo

Definitely but Gomes and Delph are injury prone, we brought Gbamin in and Silva was banging the drum before even he picked up an injury that he needed time. They tried for Doucoure but we were always light in the middle of the park for a team/manager setup to go 4-2-3-1 every week.

Not sure on Kean - I didn't see him kick a ball for Juve and Serie A in a Juve team is a world away from playing upfront on your tod for Everton. His cameos have been as bad as any - vs Watford in the cup in particular. Even if he hit the ground running, we needed another striker. Still, if we can get Ancelotti then maybe he can get Kean going. He was signed to play upfront in a 4-2-3-1 and I just dont seem him as being that type of striker who can hold the ball up/bring others into it.

I'm conflicted on Mina, think his tendency to attack the ball unsettles the whole back four.
