You think Ancelotti cant shift him out or sideline him?

He doesn’t need to. With Brands and Ancelotti you’ll see a huge shift in operations now. Ancelotti has the pull, Brands has the negotiations.

I know you’ll disagree with that but I’m convinced that over a few seasons Brands is the right man to oversee things, especially with Ancelotti in place and getting the best out of his signings.

I think Brands is way off adequate, mate. A man with a flawed plan. Buying players from top clubs for a fortune almost regardless of talent and mentality and how they fit in to what we have.

Ancelotti will disregard that and marginalise him.

If that includes going along with undermining his own efforts behind the scenes then he's a fool...and I doubt that very much.

Yes, it's entirely in Marcel Brands interests to undermine or not listen to Carlo Ancelotti. Absolutely.

So, just so I understand: Usmanov has nothing to do with Everton, Moshiri is a carpetbagger and a fool and Marcel Brands is incompetent.

But somehow, after meeting with these frauds and charlatans, one of the most decorated managers in the history of the game thought "I'll just risk my reputation here, for some reason"

It was never going to be built in a day though. The squad (individual skill wise) has massively improved from 2 years ago.

He’s made mistakes at times for sure but injuries have made it hard to judge.

There’s huge work to be done, I think we’re 6 quality players from having a competitive side. Let’s get 2 in January. 4 in the summer. Next season will be completely different.

It's a hit and miss plan we cant afford. I'd say about a third he's brought in are adequate to what Ancelotti will need to work with. That is not a great strike rate.

Watch as Ancelotti uses his agent contacts to by-pass Brands. And rightly so.
