But why does he have to name them? Are you saying there isn’t anyone in world football that would improve us that we could afford?

It’s not he’s probably an accountant, it’s not his job but I bet he can draw up a balance sheet because you know he’s paid and trained to do so....

Not desperate for a right back, Coleman started the season brilliantly and has only just came back from injury, I agree we need to start looking for a right back for a long term replacement (my choice is lamptey from Brighton) but I wouldn’t say desperate at all especially as holgate does well there as cover

We ain’t desperate though (like NEED to sign one this transfer window) we need another striker more than anything, a injured Dom and we’ve had it

Digne is unbelievable and the mad thing is Baines was better than both, what a player we got to watch.

He doesn't get as many plaudits because he's a poor defender. So was Baines - and Coleman. All three made their names for their impact in the other half of the pitch. Baines was excellent in attack right to the end - witness his last-minute goal in the League Cup last year. But defensively? The only full back who was as regularly so far off his man as to not be in the neighbourhood to stop crosses was Coleman. Digne is not much better.
