The recruitment policy since October has been negligent.

Nothing has changed between then and now. Not one thing. We knew going into Jan what we needed.

Doucoure was the latter. The problem is a complete lack of pace. There's a reason Ancelotti has set them up defensive first as we have zero ability to stretch teams and play in behind.

It's obvious what we need. A fresh right back as Coleman is completely finished, and a quick inside forward to threaten teams. As a secondary concern we need a second striker to deputise DCL, who looks exhausted.

£30m on Iwobi and £50m on Sigurdsson... Those two signings have crippled us in that area of the pitch for years now.
