That injury murdered him, can't be too annoyed about that. Same as Gbamin.

I blame brands for assembling a team that is so desperately short of pace.

While he continue to overlook pacy attacking players since his arrival. Not a single effective pacy attacking players signed under his watch.

Brands being obstinate and unwilling to provide replacements truly impeded Carlos ability to succeed. can't believe we had a game where gylfi was the striker. On that development alone he should of been sacked for negligence

Does he sign first team players in January though?

No, and we shouldn't unless the right player becomes available. Our squad is unbalanced because of idiotic buys over the past few years, if we can get them off the wage bill then in the summer some more sensible buying can take place.

Typically I'd agree being wary about the January window, but letting Walcott and Kean go on loan left Everton significantly lacking in depth. Even a short-term loan would be welcomed as our bench is beyond grim.

Not arsed what he does now, he's killed the season by not sorting it sooner. I don't care if he scrabbles around for scraps now.

He's got a track record for panic buys late on too.

Honestly mate I wouldn't renew his contract based on what good he's actually done - I've said this all along btw. The only valid reason I've got for it is continuity, but that's a very sad reflection on the state of his job imo.

Needs to do something major on Monday, all well and good getting players off the books but he’s in danger of fully tanking the season. Our two forwards are dying out there and we have no one to come in to give them a breather
