We did have a ban and I’m sure we’re seeing the effects now.

I have no idea what the impact of the U18 ban will be for us. I don’t think we have loads of foreign youngsters in our ranks. However, it will affect the likes of Arsenal, City and Chelsea etc. I suppose the impact will be even more competition for English youngsters and lower league clubs getting raided / squeezed even more.

I think the likes of City Chelsea etc will sign 16-18 yr old's and leave them in their home country until their 18th birthday

He’s back on Furlough until last week of July.

Our squad as a whole is poor, our bench is not good enough. That lies with either Moshiri, Ancelotti or Brands.
Brands is paid very very very well, so he is not afforded the excuse of ‘no one wants to buy them’ that’s his job, if he can’t do his job he shouldn’t be here.

Didn't United do it with that lad they bought from Italy last October but left him in Italy till Jan
City have done it with South American(s) as well

....I’m exactly the same, Degs. Interested to know what Ancelotti’s view of the situation is & whether Moshiri is canvassing his opinion.

From the one mention I read, Brands is keen to extend his contract which suggests Moshiri is either uncertain (and has somebody lined up) or they’ve agreed a new deal and will sort it in the next few months.

I think its all been a bit of a shock / learning curve to Brands.
It's a whole different ball game and type of player needed to play in England rather than Holland - hence Klassens?

Could well have been. Hes nailed it though with Doucoure and Godfrey + Branthwaite and Nkounkou.

They look promising but too early to tell
I still reckon we need cover / rotation at LB
Even an older player 30/31 on a free /low fee for a couple of years

I’m with you. Can’t make up my mind whether he’s good or average.

Certainly don’t think he’s outstanding.

best players we have are James and Digne imo. Carlo is James surrogate dad. Digne is i assume a Brands signing. We also know doucoure was a persistent push from brands. Allan was obviously a Carlo relationship.

pickford, Gomes, king, are all average signings and that’s being nice.

I think Keane is playing the beat season of his life and probably Mina as well who are Bramds signings.

Richarlison obviously that clown Silva signed him. Probably only good thing he did!
